Visitors Center Hours

Research Library is available by appointment. Please provide your areas of interest prior to your visit, so that we can prepare the materials for viewing.

Please call 610-388-7376 or email events@chaddsfordhistory.org to arrange research appointments, meeting room rentals and group tri ps.

Tours & Education Programs

John Chads House tours are available by appointment only.

Barns-Brinton House tours are available on by appointment only between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Group tours are available by appointment for youth and adult groups

Chadds Ford Historical Society

The Society was founded in 1968 as part of an effort to save the dilapidated John Chads House (c.1725) which had come up for sale and was rumored to be destroyed.
